Tips for hotel accommodation
To ensure that you are fit and rested for the ASICS Austrian Women's run, we recommend that you book a room at a hotel in the vicinity of the event location or within easy reach by public transport.
Event location: Pierre-de-Coubertin-Platz, 1020 Vienna (next to Ernst Happel Stadium)
Convenient locations for accommodation:
- Near Wiener Prater and Messezentrum
- Near underground line U2: You can easily and conveniently take the underground to the station Stadion.
- Near underground line U1: Exit at the station Praterstern and change to underground line U2 in the direction "Aspernstraße"
- Near U4 or U3: Change to underground line U2 at the station Karlsplatz/Schottenring resp. Volkstheater.

We recommend all participants and visitors to use public transportation in order to avoid traffic jams.
Public transportation
By metro:
Take the metro line U2 to the station STADION. From there you only have to walk for about 200m across Olympiaplatz directly to the event area.
Note for Event- Sunday 2026:
Between 07.00 am and 13.30 pm the metro line U2 goes every 3 minutes. Please use only the exits and entrances for the event. Please do not use the area of the station as meeting point in order to avoid lon waiting. Note the announcements of the Vienna public transportation, Wiener Linien.
The way to the START:
On the Event-Saturday crossing the finish line on Olympiaplatz ist NOT possible. Please choose the route around the Ernst Happel Stadium
Entrance to the starting blocks:
Due to organizational reasons, the starting block can be entered alternately double-sided.
Tips for taking the car
Because of the high number of visitors, the intense traffic and large-scale traffic barriers/diversions, we do not recommend taking the car. Our tip: park your car close to a metro station and use public transportation to get to the event area.
ATTENTION: On the Event weekend, Meiereistraße, Stadionallee between Vorgartenstraße and Lusthausstraße will be closed due to organizational reasons.
ATTENTION: For safety reasons, illegally parked vehicles will be towed by the competent authority at the owner's expense.
