Cookies during Website Use

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any harm. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted. In addition, you have the option to reject certain cookies used to improve the user experience, web analysis, advertising, and retargeting via our cookie disclaimer, which is displayed when you first access the site.

Cookies for Web Analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). If you have your habitual residence in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) is the controller responsible for data processing and compliance with applicable data protection laws. Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how you use this website. The information generated by such a cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address and the URLs of the accessed websites as well as the attributes of the website) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers. We do not store any of your data collected in connection with Google Analytics. Our website uses the IP anonymization option offered by Google Analytics. Your IP address will therefore be shortened/anonymized by Google as soon as Google receives your IP address. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services related to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. More information on Google's terms of use and Google's privacy policy can be found at: https://policies.google.com/?hl=en.

YouTube

We use the function for embedding YouTube videos from Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; "YouTube") on our website. YouTube is an affiliate of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). The function displays videos stored on YouTube in an iFrame on the website. The "Extended Data Protection Mode" option is activated. This means that YouTube does not store information about visitors to the website. Only when you watch a video is information transmitted to and stored by YouTube. Your data may be transmitted to the USA. Google is certified under the US-EU "Privacy Shield" data protection agreement and is therefore committed to complying with European data protection directives. Data processing is based on your consent according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation. For more information on the collection and use of data by YouTube and Google, your rights in this regard, and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to YouTube's privacy policy: https://www.youtube.com/t/privacy.

Retargeting Technologies

We may use the remarketing or "similar target groups" function of Google, Facebook, and Taboola. This function allows us to target you with advertising on websites by displaying personalized, interest-based advertisements to users of the website when they visit other websites. The providers use cookies to perform the analysis of website use, which forms the basis for creating interest-based advertisements. For this purpose, the provider stores a small file with a sequence of numbers in the browsers of the website users. This number is used to record visits to the website and anonymized data about website use. No personal data of the website users is stored. If you subsequently visit another website in the partner network of the respective provider, you may be shown advertisements that very likely take into account previously accessed product and information areas. For more information on the collection and use of data by retargeting providers, your rights in this regard, and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the privacy policies:

If you generally do not wish to use retargeting technologies, you can use the cookie deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative: http://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1#!/

Google Ads

We use the online advertising program "Google Ads" on our website and, within this framework, conversion tracking (visit action evaluation). Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). If you have your habitual residence in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) is the controller responsible for data processing. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is placed on your computer. These cookies have limited validity, contain no personal data, and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to that page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Thus, there is no possibility that cookies can be tracked via the websites of Ads customers. The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information that personally identifies users. Your data may be transmitted to the USA. Further information and Google's privacy policy can be found at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Facebook Ads

On some of our web pages, we also use the "Pixel" from Facebook, provided by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. This allows user behavior to be tracked after they have clicked on a Facebook advertisement. This allows us to evaluate advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and optimize future advertising measures. This function also serves to present interest-based advertisements ("Facebook Ads") to visitors of this website as part of their visit to the social network Facebook. For this purpose, the Facebook Pixel was implemented on our website. When visiting the website, a direct connection to the Facebook servers is established via the Facebook Pixel. This transmits to the Facebook server that you have visited this website, and Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. No personal data is made available to us. At the same time, the data is also stored and processed by Facebook itself, so that a connection to the respective Facebook user profile is possible for Facebook. Facebook can use this data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy. Consent for this lies within the sphere of Facebook and cannot be influenced by us. For more information on the collection and use of data by Facebook and your rights and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps to display interactive maps and to create directions. Google Maps is a mapping service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. By using Google Maps, information about the use of this website, including your IP address and the (start) address entered as part of the route planner function, may be transmitted to Google in the USA. When you access a web page of our website that contains Google Maps, your browser establishes a direct connection with Google's servers. The map content is transmitted by Google directly to your browser and integrated into the website. Therefore, we have no influence on the extent of the data collected by Google in this way. Further information and Google's privacy policy can be found at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Smartlook

To improve the design, function, and user-friendliness of our website, we use Smartlook, a software from Smartsupp.com, s.r.o., VAT ID CZ03668681. You can opt-out of tracking by Smartlook at any time via the following link: Opt-out of Smartlook. The stored data is used only by Österreichische Frauenlauf GmbH and its directly commissioned implementation partners and is not passed on to third parties. The data is deleted after a retention period of 3 months.
